The Palmer Opera House has assembled an all star cast of local actors to bring “Life Sucks” by Aaron Posner to life. In this fast paced and funny contemporary adaptation of the great Russian Playwright Anton Chekhov’s 1898 play “Uncle Vanya” directed by recent SUNY Fredonia graduate and Belfast native Aidan Heaney, we watch as a complicated modern family struggle with desires and disappointments over the course of one weekend on the family estate.

Led by the curmudgeonly Vanya, our group of friends, enemies, and exes lovingly and honestly gather together to poke at the center of what makes our lives what they are, and ask us, the audience the question: does life really suck?

Please be advised that this production is not intended for younger audiences and contains mature themes and profanity. Performances will be February 20-21 at 7:30 PM and February 22 at 2:00 at the Palmer Opera House in Cuba NY. Tickets may be purchased at the QR code in the poster link.
